Kenya imports most of its apples, and Turkish fruit is well established in the Nairobi and Mombasa wholesale markets. Jade Feed supplies Kenyan importers with Red Delicious, Gala and Granny Smith apples in reefer containers from Mersin to Mombasa.

For the East African market we select fruit with excellent firmness and storage life, because the container often stays in the cold chain for several weeks after arrival. 18 kg cartons in counts 90–198 are standard; 13 kg plastic crates are available for buyers who re-pack locally. We prepare KEPHIS-compliant phytosanitary documents and can ship CFR or CIF Mombasa.
Kenyan demand is steady year-round; we ship from September to May, with the strongest availability from October to February.
Shipping to Kenya
Containers are loaded at the Port of Mersin, Türkiye and shipped to Mombasa. Typical transit time is 20–28 days depending on the shipping line. We quote CFR or CIF to your port and share the temperature log on request.
