India is one of the largest importers of fresh apples in the world, and Turkish apples have become a regular part of the wholesale supply in Mumbai, Delhi (Azadpur), Chennai and Bengaluru. Jade Feed has been shipping apples to Indian importers since our first seasons, and India remains our largest market.

Indian buyers typically ask for Red Delicious and Gala in 18 kg cartons, counts 90 to 198, with strong colour and firm fruit that holds up in ambient wholesale markets. We also supply Granny Smith for the retail and food-service segment. We know the APEDA and plant-quarantine requirements for Turkish apples and prepare the phytosanitary certificate and certificate of origin accordingly.
Peak demand runs from October to March, when Indian domestic supply from Himachal and Kashmir is finished. Book containers early in the season to secure the sizes and varieties you need.
Shipping to India
Containers are loaded at the Port of Mersin, Türkiye and shipped to Nhava Sheva (JNPT), Mundra and Chennai. Typical transit time is 18–25 days depending on the shipping line. We quote CFR or CIF to your port and share the temperature log on request.
